Lectures and Demonstrations

Education is an important component of our mission. We seek not only to teach the general public about the benefits of traditional Asian medicine, but also show ways that people can improve their health in their every day lives. We further seek to build bridges among peoples by fostering cultural understanding.

With a minor is Asian Studies from the University of Virginia, and having further lived in Asia for four years, Licensed Acupuncturist John Kang can speak on a wide variety of health-related topics, including Asian diets, Chinese philisophical foundations, Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Qigong. He can also lead hands-on- demonstrations of Taiji, Qigong, and Kung Fu.

Please contact John at (804) 513-4408 or kang.zhuang@gmail.com for more information.
