Common throughout Asia and specifically Taiwan, Community-Style Acupuncture is growing in popularity in the United States as a means of deliving acupuncture treatment in an inexpensive manner.
The Traditional Asian Health Center's Community-Style treatments take place at its Fan location at 1909 w. Cary Street in the training room, with an aim at serving Richmond's senior and student populations.
Some features include:
- Treatments are rendered on a sliding scale of $15-50.
- Several patients are treated at the same time
- If you prefer to lie down, please bring your own yoga mat or something similar
- There is less privacy than a standard acupuncture treatment
- Initial consultations and follow-up questioning are abbreviated compared to a regular acupuncture treatment
- Walk-ins OK
